Developed during the European Project Semester at Oslo Met, this project aimed to design a privacy-conscientious smart doorbell. The prototype integrates a push button, camera, speaker, and microphone while ensuring data remains within the user’s local network. Unlike conventional smart home devices,, Doorify aims to demonstrate the feasibility of functioning smart home automation without collecting or sharing personal data. The project incorporates a privacy-by-design approach, highlighting transparency and user control in the digital ecosystem
